This was my first major sewing project and the corset was so simple and easy (thanks camilla t. for the easy directions). I just used a pair of old flannel pjs. The most expensive thing I had to buy was the eyelet by the yard and the leather lace string I used to tie the corset. But if you wait every week you can get 50% off one item at Joann's so totally worth it my opinion. Oh a good note, don't use milk jugs as your source of boning, they are way too flimsy. Next time I'm just going to spend the extra $3 to get the boning from the store. My next material I'm going to use for my corset is from an old leather chair! I'm super excited!
