An ideal travel knit, these unisex garter and eyelet wristers knit up flat in a jiffy, then are seamed up the side. Pull from your stash or use an interesting variegated to add some depth. If you're planning on doing Handmade Holidays (never too early to plan for it, right?) these would be a great project! Gauge: • 15 sts and 21 rows/4” in lace pattern Approximate Finished Size: • 8” wide x 9” high before seaming Lace Pattern: • Row 1, 3, 5 & 7 (RS): knit • Row 2, 6 (WS): knit • Row 4: *p2tog, yo* to last st, p1 • Row 8: purl

• Cast on 29 sts • Begin lace pattern and work for 7 total reps • Work rows 1-7, BO purlwise leaving 18” tail • Using long tail and tapestry needle, mattress stitch sides together for 2.” Leave 2” opening for thumb, then mattress stitch to end • Weave in all loose ends with tapestry needle • Block lightly
