Welcome to the 'Corner Bookmark with Kusadama Flower Dangle' Tutorial! Here I will share how you can make one of these with a step by step tutorial. I made a few of these, and they're really easy to make! not to mention how pretty they look! They will make a great little mini gift to give to some one. If you have any questions regarding this tutorial, just post me a message ;) ~ Riarna

1) To make the Kusadama flower petals, cut out a square measuring 7 cm x 7 cm out of paper from an unused book.
2) Then fold it in half diagonally, so it forms a triangle.
3) Now fold one of the top corners of the triangle to meet the bottom corner of the triangle.
4) Then fold the small triangle in half again.
5) Fold the bottom upwards, to form a crease .
6) Then push it in between the middle of the two folded creases.
7) After that, fold it back. Do steps 3 - 7 to the other side of the triangle.
8) Fold the two creased sides in the middle as shown. This forms the flower petal. - Once you have done that, follow steps 1 - 7 again, to make 4-5 petals for the Kusadama flower.
9) Now that all your petals are made, using a hot glue gun, glue all the petals ends together, to form a flower.
10) Then glue a sewing button of your choice directly in the center of the flower. Next to it, glue a thin piece of ribbon of your choice, beside the button.
11) To create the corner bookmark to attach the kusadama flower, cut out a square measuring 8 cm x 8 cm of unused book paper.
12) Then fold the top two corners down, to form 2 small triangles as shown.
13) Cut out a triangle, the same size as both triangles formed above and glue on top, to create a 'pocket' in which the books pages will go under to secure the bookmark.
14) Now staple or glue the piece of ribbon end from the flower, to the corner bookmark, centered at the top - as shown.
15) Now you are finished! Place it in a book to use or give to some one as a small appreciation gift! Enjoy!
