My original corkboard had faded borders thanks to the sun.So I used fabric glue to paste the faric(measured and cut out)to the back of the corkboard first before inserting the stuffing and pasting down the front.I actually stuck the fabric into the tiny gap in between the border and the corkboard with the help of my fingernail. Now,not only can you pin something to the corkboard but the borders too!

Description

My original corkboard had faded borders thanks to the sun.So I used fabric glue to paste the faric(measured and cut out)to the back of the corkboard first before inserting the stuffing and pasting down the front.I actually stuck the fabric into the tiny gap in between the border and the corkboard with the help of my fingernail. Now,not only can you pin something to the corkboard but the borders too!

Instructions

  1. Measure the length of the borders and cut out the fabric of the same length.

  2. Using fabric glue, glue down the fabric to the back and top of the border 1st.

  3. Then insert the stuffing before glueing down the front of the board. I even push the fabric into the gap between the border and board using my nails for added security. For the junction between 2 borders, just fold the fabric(triangle shape) inwards so that it looks the same as the junction.

  4. And you're done! =)
