Make your own tassels with ties that can be used on the Cora Blouse, or any other project! Click on the Cora Blouse Tassel link to watch a tutorial on YouTube video.
1. Slide the wrappers on the skein towards the middle.
2. Open out the loops at each end, making sure not to miss any.
3. Thread 3 threads through each end of the loops, making sure they are even lengths.
4. Slide the wrappers up to secure the loops.
5. Tie a double knot at each end.
6. Plait each end of the ties.
7. Knot each end.
8. Slide the wrappers back towards the middle.
9. Using the strands for wrapping, start with the tail facing the plait, and make a loop that faces towards the wrappers.
10. Wrap the neck of the tassel (around 10 – 15 wraps is good).
11. To tie off, trim the thread, and pass the tail through the loop, and gently pull on the tail on the plaited end. Pull the tails tight, and trim.
12. Slide the wrapper back towards the wrappings.
13. Cut the skein in the middle and slide the wrappers off.
