Description

I was inspired to make my own from this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCe-uh3yqE8 website with information on fabrics you may use http://www.labyrinth.net.au/~obsidian/clothpads/DIYpads/Fabrics.html

Instructions

  1. Small img 2538

cut out your paper pattern I drew this one out myself but you can use patterns online

  2. Small img 2539

cut out your fabric pieces I used to layers of a bamboo cotton blend a fabric print for the top and black fleece for the bottom because it's water resistant

  3. Small img 2540

place your padding on your upside down top fabric

  4. Small img 2541

sew a line straight down the padding to keep it in place

  5. Small img 2542

    sew around the padding

  6. Small img 2543

sandwich the padding between your fabric print and fleece and sew around the whole thing

  7. Small img 2545

sew a line down the wings to help them fold better

  8. Small img 2528

    I did a zig-zag stich twice around

  9. Small img 2531

add your buttons or clasps to the wings

  10. Small img 2535

    and your done!
