This is a really great Christmas gift for coworkers or classmates. They smell edible and look great hanging from a tree or a gift. Get creative and use different cookie cutting shapes. Very versatile for Valentines day, just use pink ribbon!

Gather your supplies ladies!
Mix 1 cup cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg (optional), 1 tsp cloves (also optional), 1 cup applesauce and 1/4 cup of glue. Refrigerate mixture for an hour so that it will be more manageable to work with.
Roll dough out about 1/4" in thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out cute shapes. To make holes to put the ribbon through, use a drinking straw.
Place cookies on a tinfoil covered cookie sheet and bake for 2 hours at 200 degrees. Flip over 1/2 way through. This makes your house/apartment smell AMAZING. Alternatively you could let them air dry, flipping every 12 hours but that takes much longer and I'm just not that patient!
Decorate your ornaments with glitter and string a ribbon through the hole and you're done! Easy cheap and thoughtful!
IMPORTANT: Do not let your pets have one no matter how hard they beg!
