Cinnamon Coffee Soap
Use up those hotel soaps!

About
The process of cutting up and re-using hotel soap came from a blog I read titled "At home with the farmer's wife", the link is below if anyone is interested. Since I didn't feel like getting "real" soap I decided to improvise and use her "process" while adding my own twist.
Bonus! I had everything I needed on hand so this project was free!

You Will Need (3 things)
- Cinnamon Essential Oil
- Ground Coffee
- Hotel Soap
Steps (6 steps, 30 minutes)

1
Gather you supplies for two small bars I used 8 small hotel bars. These happened to be the same, but you can use different soaps, as long as the fragrance isn't too strong.
Since I was using ground coffee and cinnamon oil I figured the two scents would cancel out anything else.

You will now grate the soap into med. pieces. Since my grater is horrid I just used a knife. The soap crumbled very easy.

Next you mix all the ingredients
*Cut up soap
*6 drops of cinnamon essential oil
*2-3 tablespoons of ground coffee
*Enough water to make mixture wetNow microwave for 30 second increments until the soap bubbles.

Now spoon your mixture into a SILICONE ice cube mold if you have one, or use an oiled muffin pan as "the farmer's wife" suggested.
Let your soap rest a day or until it is hard enough to pop out of the mold.
Once I got mine out I smoothed the rough edges just to make it prettier. :) -

Now that your soap is done, package it! I wanted to be able to smell the soap while it was in the package so I left vents in the sides. this will also allow it to further dry out.

Here is my complete coffee inspired gift for my dad. :)
I put the soap in a small coffee bag for gifting.
