Arm Knitting

About
This cowl is incredibly easy to make, but it looks so high fashion! This project is one of my most popular items. It can be completed in a matter of minutes and the yarn costs close to nothing. To keep the shape of this cowl, use the thickest yarn available. Use a yarn for this project that would be used on size 50 knitting needles or any giant-size yarn.
Measures approx: CIR: 19 inches (48 cm) W: 9 inches (23 cm)

You Will Need (1 thing)
- 2 skein of super Bulky Yarn or giant-sized yarn. 25 YD (23 m) is required for this project. I’ve used Premier Yarns Couture Jazz in Iron.
Steps (6 steps, 120 minutes)
-
1
Pull 1½ feet (45 cm) of yarn from the center of the skein and make a slipknot.
-
2
Cast on six stitches.
-
3
Arm knit 12 rows using knit stitch. When you run out of yarn, tie a new skein to your yarn with a basic knot.Tighten the knot really well by pulling both ends firmly until the knot stops sliding. Cut the yarn ¼ inch (6 mm) from the knot.
-
4
Bind off the stitches and knot the end.
-
5
Sew the ends of the cowl together.
-
6
Weave in the ends and cut the yarn.
