Cut out pattern pieces
Pin a heart piece to each tree side following the photograph on the front of the instructions for positioning. Using 2 strands of white embroidery thread, blanket stitch the hearts to the tree sides.
Decorate each tree side with sequins - Using 1 strand of green embroidery thread bring needle through tree side, sequin then bead. Skipping the bead, take needle back down through the sequin to attach it to the tree side.
Pin the 2 tree side pieces wrong sides together. Using 2 strands of green embroidery thread blanket stitch along the 2 long edges.
Stuff the tree with toy filling, making sure you push the stuffing right into the top of tree.
Using 2 strands of green embroidery thread, blanket stitch the tree base to the tree. When you have stitched half way round, slot the cardboard base into the bottom of the tree and complete sewing all the way around the base.
