My very first how-to!!! I hope you enjoy it!!
First gather together all of the supplies needed inluding; various pine branches and cones, an empty candle tin, a sheet of plastic transparency plotter film, a small gift to go inside, scissors, clear tape, and a pen or marker (not showen in this picture).
Take the lid off of the tin, turn it upside down and trace around the opening onto the sheet of plastic with a pen or marker (I used a sharpie). Cut out the circle and put it aside.
Next take the pine needles off of your pine branches and fill your tin with them untill it is about a third of the way full or untill you can't see the bottom.
Place a few small pine cones and/or pine branches on top of the pine needles. Your tin should now be between 1/2 to 2/3 full.
Grab your cut out plastic circle and place on top of the pine needles and cones. You might have to trim it a bit to make it fit.
Use clear tape to secure your gift on top of the plastic.
If you want you can add additional pine branches or cones for decoration (you might need to tape or glue these down).
Check to see if the lid fits on top of all those layers and voila you're done!!! You now have a beautifully wrapped gift to give to a friend or loved one!
