1
To make your stockings, you'll need a template in the shape of a sock. Feel free to make it as big as you like, depending on how many presents you want to fit inside.
-
2
Fold the fleece in half and pin the paper template on top.
-
3
Cut out two stocking shapes from the red fleece.
-
4
Cut out a small rectangle from felt and a short strip of ribbon to the same width. We'll use these to make a pocket for the front of the stocking to keep our wishlist in.
-
5
Stitch the ribbon to the top of the pocket and then sew around the edges of the pocket onto the front piece of the stocking.
-
6
Cut out sock shapes for the toe, heel and top of the stocking.
-
7
Stitch these pieces in place on the front of the stocking.
-
8
Cut a length of ribbon to make a stocking loop and stitch it to the inside on the back piece of the stocking.
-
9
Place the front and back of the stocking on top of each other and sew around the outline.
-
10
Finally iron some patch letters to the front of your stocking to add your name.
