• 

  Step 1

  Start by cutting your card in half.

  Step 2

  Fold your card up a half inch or less (depending on how large or small you want your box to be. Repeat this first fold on all 4 sides.

  Step 3

  Next fold all of your sides a second time.

  Step 4

  To make it easier to visualize, I marked my 4 folds so you can see what you should have.

  Cut the first fold up to the second fold line on 4 of your sides. Be sure you are mirror repeating your cuts. Which way you decide to cut your box will also determine the shape of your box.

  Step 5

  Puttl your two cut sides up and tuck them in.

• 

  Step 6

  You'll be able to pull your side up over the cut sides and fold over to form your box.

  Step 7

  Pinch down and either glue or staple in place.

• 

  Step 8

  You should now have the bottom of your box. To make the top of your box, repeat the same process making sure you are cutting your sides at the exact same place. To make sure you get a good fit, make your folds a slight bit smaller than you did witht he bottom so it fits snuggly over your bottom.

  Step 9

  And you're done!

  Step 10

  Add some ribbon around your boxes and use hooks to hang on your tree or put small gifts in your boxes for stocking stuffers or gift card holders.
