This Christmas card is a marvelous gift for horse keepers and riders. It looks like a conventional Christmas stocking DIY but it has a little surprise inside! The Christmas Horse Card is hidden in the papercraft to please the receiver this joyful holiday.
Print out two copies of the Christmas stocking on white paper and one copy on red paper. Print out the Christmas Horse Card. Cut out all the printables. Take the red stripe and fold the edges a bit far from the black outline. Use this stripe as a cardholder. The Christmas Horse Card is placed in the cardholder so it can't slip off.
Glue the cardholder to the inner side of the stocking. Make sure the width of the papers is the same.
Put the Christmas Horse Card in the cardholder and make sure it sits firmly.
Take two white stripes and glue them together with the black outline outside. Glue only the top, right, and left sides of the rectangular. Leave the bottom line unglued. The white cuff is a sort of a lid that covers the Christmas Horse Card.
Place the Christmas Horse Card inside the cuff and make sure it fits. The lid should cover half of the greeting card.
Decorate the Christmas stocking. You can use any decorations you have. I used a plastic snowflake and glued it in the middle of the papercraft.
Put all the parts together. Place the Christmas Horse Card inside the cardholder at the back of the stocking and cover it with the white cuff. The idea is to pull the white lid to take the card out of the stocking when gifted. Happy holidays!
