You Will Need (13 things)

  • Pastry

  • 50 g Butter
  • 65 g Plain Flour
  • 150 ml Water
  • 2 eggs
  • Filling

  • 500 ml Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 6 tbsp Icing Sugar
  • 200 ml Ready made Custard
  • Topping

  • 100 g Chocolate
  • 25 g Butter

Steps (9 steps, 40 minutes)

    Heat oven 220 degrees. Pastry...

    Melt together the butter & water.

    Bring to the boil.

    Remove from the heat.

    Add flour and beat until smooth.

    Allow to cool a little.

    Gradually add the eggs.

    Pipe or spoon the pastry on to a tray.

    Bake for 20-25 mins.

    Allow to cool.

    Filling...

    Whisk the cream, vanilla & icing sugar together until thickened.

    Fold in the custard.

  7. 7

    Split the pastry in half.

    Fill with custard filling.

  8. 8

    Topping...

    Melt chocolate & butter together.

    Spread the chocolate over the top of the bun.

    Serve.
