Made to look like Scotch Eggs but sweet & tasty treat.

Top tips... wet your hands before rolling the eggs in brownie, place in the fridge to set for 20 mins before serving.

You Will Need (14 things)

  • Brownies

  • 2/3 cup Oil
  • 2/3 cup Cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Plain Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup icing Sugar
  • 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Filling

  • Cream Eggs
  • Coating

  • Digestives Crumbed

Steps (9 steps, 45 minutes)

    Heat oven 325/162 degrees.

    Brownies...

    Heat oil until warm but not hot.

    Add cocoa. Mix until smooth. Set aside for 5 mins.

    In a bowl beat together vanilla, eggs, icing sugar & brown sugar until light & pale.

    Mix in half the cocoa mixture.

    Continue to mix until well combined.

    Add the flour, baking powder & salt to the mixture.

    Mix to combine.

    Add remaining cocoa.

    Mix until smooth & shiny.

    Pour into a tray.

    Bake for 20-24 mins.

    Allow to cool completely.

    Cut brownies.

    Wrap around the cream egg.

    Dip/roll in crumbs.

    Serve.
