Chocolate Orange & Hazelnut Biscotti
Crunchy chocolate orange biscotti filled with chocolate chips and toasted hazelnuts!

It was biscuit week on the Great British Bake Off this week and the creative challenge was biscotti. I'm baking along and my take would have been chocolate orange and hazelnut biscotti. Do you think it would get me through to week three?

You Will Need (9 things)
- 50 g Ground Almonds
- 20 g Cocoa
- 180 g Plain Flour
- 50 g Chocolate Chips
- 50 g Toasted Hazelnuts
- 1 Orange(s)
- 100 g Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- ½ tsp Baking Soda
Steps (9 steps, 45 minutes)

Whisk together the ground almonds, cocoa, baking soda and plain flour.

Whisk together the eggs and sugar.

Mix the flour into the eggs.

Grate in the zest from the orange and then squeeze in the juice.

Add the toasted hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

Knead the dough into a loaf and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 180'C for half an hour.

Slice the biscotti and place each slice face up on the baking sheet.

Bake at 130'c for 15 minutes and then serve!
