The price of energy bars getting you down? This easy recipe can be made in a flash for only a few pennies.

You will need

½ cup Dried Fruit (e.g., raisins and cranberries) 1 cup Walnuts ½ cup Peanuts (or other nut) ½ cup Caschew ½ cup Pumpkin Seeds ½ cup vegan Chocolate Chips 2 tbsp Agave Nectar or maple syrup ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients until mixture starts to pull away from the sides of the mixer and forms a dough. Transfer to a dry cutting board and shape into a loaf. Slice into bars. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap and keep in freezer until needed. Makes 6-10 bars.
