These are chocolate sponge cup cakes decorated with green butter icing & chocolate eggs.

They are very easy to make & look amazing

You Will Need (13 things)

  • 4 oz Butter
  • 4oz Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 3 oz Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 oz Coco Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • Butter icing

  • 3 oz Butter
  • 5 oz Icing Sugar
  • 4 drops Food Colouring
  • Topping

  • Chocolate Eggs

Steps (9 steps, 40 minutes)

    Heat the oven 180 degree.

    Cream the butter & sugar together.

    Add the eggs one at a time.

    Add the vanilla.

    Add the sift flour, baking powder & coco.

  5. 5

    Mix together until combined.

  6. 6

    Spoon into cases.

  7. 7

    Cook for approx 15 mins.

    Allow to cool.

    Mix up the icing.

    Combine the butter & icing sugar together

    Add the green food colouring.

    Using a grass tip pipe the icing onto the cupcake.

    Add the chocolate eggs to the top.
