I know the pictures are really bad, it's because of the overhead lighting in our kitchen :/ I used some air-drying coloured kid's clay where I found really cheaply in a supermarket! It dries in a sort of hard-foam texture :) all of these photos were taken before I put the the ring back on AND..... (tries to think if she's forgotten anything!) oh yes! I saw this at http://www.meow-box.co.uk/products/chocolate-cake-with-sauce-ring but didn't want to pay £13 for it!! (2nd Picture)

Instructions

  1. Small clay 001

Start off with a dark brown piece of clay/ fimo. Divide it into two.

  2. Small clay 002

Like this: (even though i'm pretty sure you know how to do this!)

  3. Small clay 003

Shape your brown clay stuff into a square shape and flatten it, do this woth the other half too. You want them roughly the same size!

  4. Small clay 004

    Next, get your white clay

  5. Small clay 005

Shape this bit into a thin square and flatten, you want it the same size as the other two pieces.

  6. Small clay 007

Now put all 3 squares together!

  7. Small clay 008

Get another ball of white clay and squish it to make a sort of squished-ball shape (don't know what to call it!)

  8. Small clay 009

Add the caramel over the top with lighter brown clay, then put a ball of red on the top for a cherry, pop it on a ring and voila! you have an AMAZING ring!!
