This is rich & tasty. I used a mix of white & milk chocolate spread but you can use any you have.
This is rich & tasty. I used a mix of white & milk chocolate spread but you can use any you have.
Heat oven 200 degrees Base... Rub together the butter & flour until breadcrumbs.
Add the egg & a little cold water if needed to bring the pastry together.
Wrap in cling film & place in the fridge for 30 mins.
Roll out the dough. Bake blind for 15 mins. Remove beans & bake for a further 5-10 mins. Set aside.
Toffee sauce... Heat the caramels, cream & milk together until melted.
Pour on top of the base. Keep a few spoons of the sauce for later. Set aside.
Chocolate filling... Mix 1/2 cup of cream with the corn flour.
Add the remaining cream, vanilla, chocolate spread & salt. Heat until boiling point. Boil for 3 mins, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat.
Pour over the toffee sauce. let set for 30 mins.
Drizzle the remaining toffee sauce over the chocolate. Allow to cool then refrigerate for atleast 4 hrs.
Cut & serve.
