Chocolate & peanut butter bear shaped birthday cake

Tom loves bears and it was his birthday so I made him a bearthdaycake!

You Will Need (13 things)

  • 400 g Sugar
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Peanut Butter Cups
  • 200 g Flour
  • 80 g Cocoa
  • 6 Eggs

  • To decorate

  • Peanut Butter
  • Nutella
  • Candy Laces
  • Dolly Mix
  • White Chocolate Buttons
  • Jelly Beans

Steps (12 steps, 45 minutes)

    Whisk together the butter, peanut butter and sugar.

    Beat in each of the eggs, one at a time.

  3. 3

    Whisk in the flour and cocoa.

  4. 4

    Divide the mixture between two cake tins and four donuts on a donut baking tin.

  5. 5

    Bake at 200'C for 20 minutes until golden and leave to cool.

    Place a cake on a plate with two of the donuts at either side for ears and spread with peanut butter.

    Spread Nutella on top of the peanut butter.

    Place the second cake on top and two more donut on top of the ears.

    Spread the top with Nutella.

    Place some peanut butter in the middle of the bears ears and in the middle of his face for a muzzle.

    Use candy laces to draw a mouth and use some dolly mix for a nose.

    Create some eyes out of white chocolate buttons with a jelly bean in the middle.
