This home made version of this pie tastes amazing. It is pretty easy to make. The taste is brilliant and much better than a shop bought or frozen version.
This home made version of this pie tastes amazing. It is pretty easy to make. The taste is brilliant and much better than a shop bought or frozen version.
Heat oven gas 6. Chop onions & garlic, fry in a little oil but do not colour.
Chop the chicken and add to the onion/garlic and cook through.
Add a couple of table spoons of flour to the chicken and cook through for a couple of mins.
Add the chicken stock to the pan and bring back to the boil. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook for 4 mins.
Add the cream to the pan and reduce the heat. Roll out the pastry.
Add the chicken mix to the pie dish and cover with pastry. Cook in oven for approx 30 mins until the pastry is cooked through and golden brown.
