Cheshire Cat Hat!

We're all mad here... for this awesome kitty hat!
This is my original design for a Cheshire Cat Hat! I was inspired by the Cheshire Cat from Disney's original animated Alice in Wonderland.

Since I don't have a mannequin head to model the hat on (and I'm not willing to be a model when I'm the one taking the photo), I tried to position the hat so it looks kind of like it will when it's being worn. When it's not worn, it looks kind of rectangular (see my Grumpy Kitty Hat: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/grumpy-kitty-hat).

Crocheted, then felt patches were sewn on with embroidery thread. I know these aren't the best photos in the world, I apologize. I kind of need a better camera.
