A girl like me who loves vintage is also completely and totally crazy about brooches. I love old silver brooches, Trifari brooches and, of course the wild one in colors and with animal or fruit. the one I will show you here is my favorite fruit, cherry.

all you need
Find a picture on your computer of a leaf you like. print it out on a piece of shrink plastic. Cut it out and make a hole with a hole puncher. turn on the owen and follow the instruction for the shrinking plastic. I make more than one leaf so I can pick the one I like the best.
To seal the color from the print, paint with the découpage varnish. I do it with a sponge to get a more rustic look.
now it is time to make the cherry's. 1. Braid a stalk out of the black fishing line. 2. Tie 3 to 4 knots so you get a one big knot. pull a bead on the braided fish line. It should be tight to get the bead over the knot, so the bead will stay in place. 3. Melt the ends with a lighter
I glue the cherry stalk onto the backside of the leaf. and then glue a piece of felt on top. in the end I sew or glue a small safety pin in to the felt
And then you are done
