Tame that wild ribbon!

The number of spools you can fit in each bin depends on the number of holes, space between the holes, and width of the bin. Due to the number of holes in my bin, I am able to fit 12 spools (6 on each side) in my container. The most frustrating part of all of this is getting the ribbon through the holes and making sure they stay there as you're pulling the next spool through. Other than that, it's super easy!

Description

The number of spools you can fit in each bin depends on the number of holes, space between the holes, and width of the bin. Due to the number of holes in my bin, I am able to fit 12 spools (6 on each side) in my container. The most frustrating part of all of this is getting the ribbon through the holes and making sure they stay there as you're pulling the next spool through. Other than that, it's super easy!

Instructions

  1. Go to a discount store or dollar store and purchase a plastic storage bin with holes in it. Pick up some wooden dowels at the craft store that are a couple of inches longer than the width of your storage bin.

  2. Take your purchases home and get out your spools of ribbon.

  3. Position the spools on the dowels and insert them into the holes on the side of the bin.

  4. Pull your ribbon through the holes on the front of the bin and you're done! No more wild, messy ribbon!
