Card-making is an art that quickly gets expensive. And while I love my die cuts and embellishments, my cards on Make it Lucky are all about being affordable and easy to pull off regardless of skill level. These chalkboard cards come together quickly, and are fun to customize, whatever the occasion.

You Will Need (6 things)
- Chalkboard Paint
- Cardstock
- Template (see attachments)
- Chalk
- Washi Tape
- Paint Brush
Steps (3 steps, 20 minutes)

Trace/cut out the template and mask off your desired "chalkboard" section with washi tape.

Cover the desired section with chalk paint, using unidirectional strokes to create as smooth a surface as possible.

Use chalk (or a chalk marker) to decorate the card as you would a chalkboard. Etsy is great for inspiration for chalkboard fonts/dectorations/etc.
