It’s great to crochet and being able to make things for yourself or others. You have the freedom of playing with color, texture and threads for different looks. This is a heavy necklace with crocheted links, all crocheted in the round and tied one by one to form the chain.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 5 .5 mm Crochet Hook
  • 100 Gr. of Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn in main color
  • 50 Gr. of Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn in secondary color
  • Clasp(s)
  • Sewing Needle

Steps (3 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

    To start the first link ch 8 and ss in the 1st ch to close in the round.
    R1: Ch 1, 18 sc inside the 8 ch ring, ss in the 1st sc of this row. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

    For the next link ch 8 and introduce from front to back into the last link on its right side. Then ss in the 1st ch taking care not to twist your work.
    R1: Ch 1, 18 sc inside the 8 ch ring, ss in the 1st sc of the row. Fasten off and weave in all ends.

    Repeat the last step until there are 10 beige links, 4 green and another 10 in beige. When finishing just make sure all links are facing on their right side without twisting the chain. Finally place the clasps. The collar is ready.
