This is a very fun, cheap and easy project to do and you can make tons of it in different hues. You can change up the color of the string and cord with whatever color you want! Go crazy with it!! Be creative!!
This is a very fun, cheap and easy project to do and you can make tons of it in different hues. You can change up the color of the string and cord with whatever color you want! Go crazy with it!! Be creative!!
Here are the material that you'll need for this project. Wax cord, string, chain, clear nail polish, a ruler, and scissors.
The first step is to cut your cord and string with the length you prefer. The string should be a little bit longer than the cord. You should also cut the chain with the length you prefer. My measurements are 5.5” for the chain, 23” for the string, and 17” for the cord. Tie the cord and string into a knot with a 5” excess at the end. It will serve as your lock mechanism.
Put your chain through the string.
Get your string and loop it around the cord with the string coming out from the second chain link. Technically, you’re just like sewing.
Now continue looping the string around the cord.
After doing so, your bracelet should now look like the picture on step 6.
When you reach the very end of the chain, tie a knot at the very end almost touching the last chain link.
Cut any excess string and apply nail polish at the tips of the cord and string.
Knot the excess cord and string on both ends of the bracelet.
And you're done! You now have a perfect layering piece to stack up to your arm party!
