You'll need a large long sleeved T-shirt, a small square pillow and fiberfill stuffing. I sewed the wrists of the T-shirt together to make a tube. I sewed across the chest and inserted the pillow, and then sewed across the bottom. I stuffed the arms and across the top through the neck hole, and then sewed the neck hole closed. I hand sewed the middle pillow area to the arms. It turned out quite large and will be smaller if you use a smaller shirt. You can use a pillow you have or get one on sale. The stuffing and pillow were the priciest items since I got the T-shirt for free from my brother. It will cost anywhere from $7 - $15 depending on sales and coupons. The Mad Dog logo is centered and looks cool on the cat bed.
