I love the movie burlesque, the dancing, the singing , the costumes and the SHOES! These are inspired by the louboutins that are featured in the film. These were simple Canvas _rubi_ shoes costing $30 when first purchased. Paint was then mixed with textile medium and applied to the shoes allowing time to fully dry. Then with the help of my trusty hot glue gun I arranged and glues flowers pearls and Craft sparkles (all purchased at spotlight) onto the shoes. The shoes have been worn ALOT and have not fallen apart, become damaged for wear or water, or needed repairing.
