Holidays are in the details. I made these for our family Easter.
Holidays are in the details. I made these for our family Easter.
Gather candy, toys, and other bits to fill the carrots. (I used a selection of noise makers, candy, little toys, bubbles, and Easter temporary tattoos.)
Gather white tissue paper, crepe paper, and green tissue paper. Cut green tissue paper into leaf shape & white tissue paper into squares (they will create cone shape when folded diagonal and rolled around candy or toys.)
Fold square of white tissue paper in half diagonal and create cone shape (carrot like) by wrapping around toys and/or candy. Secure end with drop of hot glue is desired.
Crumble or fold green leaf (from tissue paper) and attach with drop of hot glue to top of white tissue paper or to plastic of candy wrapper.
Wrap with colored creme paper, top to bottom, filling in with more candy or toys while keeping carrot shape. (Thin on bottom, getting thicker towards top.) You want at least two layers of the crepe paper (streamers). Secure end with drop of hot glue.
Ready for any-bunny!
