This is a delicious, moist carrot cake. The recipe makes two 9 inch sponges. I use butter icing to stack & top the cakes but they taste good without.
This is a delicious, moist carrot cake. The recipe makes two 9 inch sponges. I use butter icing to stack & top the cakes but they taste good without.
Heat oven 160/ gas 3. Mix all dry ingredients together.
Mix all wet ingredients together.
Mix wet & dry ingredients together.
Pour into tins & bake for 1 hr 15 mins.
Allow to cool in tin. Remove from tin & cool completely.
Sandwich together with butter cream icing or leave plain.
Serve.
