About
This technique is great for getting double-duty from your embossing plates—and from your color sprays! You can get some really varied effects, depending on the design of your embossing plate, and the type of spray you use—whether that’s a bright, bold color or something softer, like this Clearsnap spray in Bubblegum.

1
Emboss white cardstock with the Label with Dots pattern. Place the cardstock with the raised side facing you (so you can feel the bumps of the dots) and tap on your embossing inkpad. Heavy tapping will create more white area, so keep that in mind as you apply the ink.

Immediately sprinkle with white embossing powder. Tap off excess and heat-set.

3
Place the cardstock on a cardboard box or spraying surface and spritz with Bubblegum. Blot with paper towel.
