it was Valentine's Day, and I always prefer to make handmade cards... so I bought 2 pieces scrapbook paper(the big size) and 1 piece of card stock, and about a yard of pretty ribbon... folded the cardstock in half then in half again, cut ribbon in half, glued the ribbon into each opening, glued each opening shut. cut out a heart shape for the front from scrapbook paper, then cut scrapbook paper to fit the inside so it was all covered. used contrasting paper to cut out another heart and a square, one for each inside, and glued . let dry and wrote my gratitude in this lovely, pretty little card. used aleene's tacky glue for this project. my husband loves it and as you can see, he still has it up in our room!
