Now that you have all the pieces for your card created here are some ways to dress them up and pull the whole project together.
First, attach the white border to the bottom of the card. Then, add the tree and the trunk using the tape runner for all three of the pieces.

Attach the snowflakes or other punched pieces to the card and add some adhesive stones to the center to give them an extra layer.
-
3
Glue the circles or other shapes to the tree to decorate it.
-
4
Also, add some graduated sized stones to different areas of the card.
-
5
Tie a piece of Bakers Twine through the button holes and glue the buttons on the tree in various places. Add some buttons without the twine if you like. A star button makes the perfect topper.
-
6
Stamp the sentiment onto the card to finish it.

Now, wasn't that easy and you didn't even need to worry about finding that right piece or large enough piece of patterned paper! It's a good way to use those smaller scraps and still have a beautiful design to stand out on your project. All of the different pieces add great texture and design to the card, too. The next time you need a card, but don't think you have just the right things to create it take a second look. You may have it after all.
