Caramel Fudge

This is an easy to make Fudge.

It takes a little time to come to temp but it is well worth the wait.

You can add a little sea salt to the top if you want to make it salted caramel fudge.

You Will Need (7 things)

  • 200 g Sugar
  • 100 g Light Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Glucose Syrup
  • 300 ml Double Cream
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1 Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Icing Sugar

Steps (6 steps, 40 minutes)

    Line a tin.

    Put sugars, glucose, cream, butter & vanilla in a pan.

    On a low heat stir constantly for approximately 10 mins until the sugar is dissolved.

    Turn up the heat slightly, simmer for approximately 15 mins, until temp is 115 degrees.

    Do not stir !!!

    Remove from heat, pour mixture into a bowl.

    Leave to cool for 10 mins.

    Add the icing sugar & beat with a wooden spoon for 3-4 mins.

    Spoon into tin & smooth the surface.

    Leave to cool until set.

    Cut into squares.

    Serve.
