A creative way to add flair to an empty wall.

I got this idea a while ago from the black picture that I found online. It was just what I needed to occupy the space of empty wall I had in my room. It's super easy to do and will look amazing for a long time! (Watch out for kittens though, they tore down a lot of mine)

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Pencil(s)
  • 4 Black Sharpie Sharpie
  • Scissors
  • Scotch Tape
  • Construction Paper A couple of pieces, different colors

Steps (5 steps, 600 minutes)

  1. 1

Grab your piece of construction paper and fold it in half (or even in fourths). Draw half of a butterfly on the edge of the fold. If you would like, outline it in sharpie.

Repeat with different colors of construction paper until you have a desired amount of butterflies.

Also optional: Make a couple of the butterflies smaller than the rest.

  2. 2

    Cut out the butterflies.

  3. 3

Get a small piece of tape and fold it so it is sticky on both sides (or use the double sided sticky tape stuff) and attach it to the back of the butterfly on the line.

  4. 4

Arrange the butterflies on your wall so they seem like they are all flying to a midpoint. I cut out a large circle out of yellow construction paper to represent a sun for mine. If you made a couple of smaller butterflies, I added mine closest to the sun.

  5. 5

Once you have them arranged how you like, you're done! Sit back and enjoy the creation you have made.
