Butterfly Headphones
Vocaloid Inspired

About
These headphone are inspired by the song "Magnet" from the Vocaloids.
When I took the pictures, I missed some steps, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
I also took pictures from two different sets. Heh, thats why one set is blue and the other is red...

You Will Need (5 things)
- 1 Headphones
- 1 Colored Plastic Folder
- 1 Black Sharpie Marker Pen(s)
- 1 Black Acrylic Paint
- 1 Hot Glue Gun
Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

First, make a stencil. You can pick out any type or size of wing you want. I made several wing types myself.
After you've got that done, cut it out. Don't forget to cut out the inner detail with either a really good pair of scissors or an exacto knife!

Get your trusty Sharpie and start tracing your design onto the folder.
For these two wings, they were small enough to fit onto the two inner pockets.

3
Flip the stencil and repeat for the second wing.

After the initial tracing, go over your lines.
Then, you can color in the spaces using either Sharpie or the black acrylic paint. Let dry and hold it up to the light to look for uneven spots.
Note: The Sharpie may be blotchy of sticky and smelly. I found out the hard way.

Now, all you should have to it cut the wings out!

With your newly cut out wings, check where you'd like to position them on the headphones. You can curve the edge to have them fit nicely too.
Once you've figured that out, glue them with your trusty hot glue gun.
First, put a thin line along your curve. Then, stick the wing into place via the 'seam' between the foam and the plastic.
Hold in place while glur settles.

Try them on and see how they look!
