It tasted good. It was not overly sweet and just had a bit of the cream cheese flavor and had a glassy look to it and almost looked like stained glass when it was done. This is only the second time I have baked a cake (it is a mix with red and blue chips in it) and the first time I have ever made frosting. You just allow the butter to soften and then mix everything together until it is smooth. It would be much easier and a whole lot quicker if you have a mixer, but we don't so I mixed it by hand and pressed any bits of cream cheese against the side of the bowl to smooth it in so it is creamy
