The dress I made for my friends hen night- as the bride we dressed her in white and blue. Its interlayered satin and georgette, with a either baby blue and white lace or bright blue sequined edging. It was made from measurements, which was a bit scary since I've never had to do that before! And had a front zip fastening that I had to disguise. No need for dramatic or pretty closures though, as the top was hidden under the basque. It looked fabulous, and she loved it :) See the one I made for myself here: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/burlesque_bustle_skirt/versions/19
