Thank you so much Becca. Your pattern was a life saver! I'd spent hours trying to work out what to wear to a moulin rouge theme party when I stumbled across this one. The pattern was super simple to cut out, Easy to make with comprehensive instructions. I used a lace-up close like a corset and I did not sew the side seam up, Instead I left it open to show a cheeky bit of leg. Word of warning - Use heavy duty sewing machines when stitching all the layer together. I broke a few in the process. The waist band, as per Becca's advise, could be halved but I added Darts to taylor the waist band in. Awesome design and I had so many compliments at the party! Well done Becca. I cannot wait to make another one. NB: I used Satin for the skirt and it still worked out cheaper than hiring a costume here in NZ!
