You Will Need (7 things)
- Sewing Machine
- Fusible Interfacing
- Scraps of Fabric
- Wire
- White Ribbon
- Letter Bead(s)
- Pin(s)
Steps (13 steps, 50 minutes)
-
1
You will need a three different squares of fabric for this. I used some Liberty print scraps I had left over, measuring 3" x 3".
-
2
Cut out a small square of interfacing and iron it on to your scrap.
-
3
Fold your scrap in half and cut.
-
4
Fold in half again and cut, so you have 4 small squares. Repeat for the other 2 scraps, so you have 12 squares in total.
-
5
Pick out 13 letter beads to go in between the bunting flags. You can write whatever you like, maybe your name? but I went for I Love Cupcakes.
-
6
Cut a long length of white ribbon, measuring about 25" and a matching length of wire.
-
7
Wrap the ribbon around the wire and pin in place.
-
8
Now take a fabric square and fold over the ribbon.
-
9
Pin in place and slip a bead on either side. Plan out which letter beads go where before hand.
-
10
Repeat this for the remaining fabric squares and beads.
-
11
Sew the flags on by sewing a straight down line the middle. I sewed around the outside of the flags, alternating between straight stitches and zig zags from flag to flag.
-
12
Trim the edges of the wire and tuck them in to the end beads. Tie knots in the ends of the ribbon.

All done, wear with pride!
