I wasn't too sure what to make with my mini skeins from Space Cadet Yarn until Bobbin came along and snatch a skein to play with. Now I can get my own back on her for pinching my yarn!

Cut two pipe cleaners to double the height of your ears and bend down in the middle.
Use a yarn needle to stitch around the pipe cleaner to the edge of the ears using the long tail.
Attach the ears to the top of your hat using the second long tail on each ear.
Cut two lengths of yarn to the wide of your hat, plus the two tails you left on either side.
Braid the new length of yarn into the tail at one side, use a yarn needle to weave it along the bottom of the hat and then braid down the final tail.
Knot the tails at either side and trim off any remaining yarn. Now for the hard part... try and get the hat on your cat!
