It has been debated wether these are japanese or not =0 i side with those say they are japanese. At least I know they were popular in japan in the 40's
Bunka have no "correct" way of making they all come in difrient shapes and sizes, characteristics that make them bunka are their bonnets, big eyes, and dresses similar to todays lolita street fashion, very cute
a how-to can be addded but this takes long so if you want one it will take me a while, since my bunka are 100% sewn together by hand, as are the clothes and the eyes are panted by me.
