I was given a kit for xmas but no pattern or size to work with! Downloaded a free pattern that was similar, so started this with 96 stitches for 16 rows before decreasing as per free pattern. Although i ran out of yellow quicker than my original picture indicated i should have, i had decided earlier on to slowly narrow the pattern to make the bee lines look even! I had to learn how to do the bee tail at the top of the hat. This is for an approx. 6 month old baby!
