I find old drawers all of the time on the side of the road or they are left over from dressers being upcycled. This project is a great way to reuse some of those left over drawers.

Decide which of your drawers will be the bottom one and attached four legs to it. I found these legs at Home Depot and they were relatively inexpensive. You could also use reclaimed legs.
To attach the legs, drill a hole the size of the screw on the leg through the drawer face and then screw in the leg. For extra security, add a little wood glue to the hole.

Paint each of the drawers a varying shade of blue to get an ombre effect. Start with the darkest blue on the bottom and add a little white or cream coloured paint to the dark blue paint making each drawer a little lighter than the one below it.

Using wood glue, attach each drawer to the one below it making a stack of four drawers. For extra security, you can add screws between the layers of drawers so that they won't come apart.

Once your bookshelf is built and in place, use a screw to attach it to the wall and fill it with all of your beautiful collections.
