* gather your materials - Dead/ Disposable pen, - handful of pony beads - 12 inches of thread - Clasp (optional) *then dismantle the pen, (we'll only be using the casing)
~put the thread through the pen casing, until the casing is in the middle of the thread ~ start threading the beads onto the thread, on either side of the pen casing
~continue threading beads onto the thread, until, when hung from the strings at the top, there is enough room for your bird to sit comfortably. then tie a tight knot, right at the top of the beads. (leaving at least a 2 inch tail
*** optional *** if you have a clasp such as the one pictured, you can use it (see 'how' in the next pic) it will make it easier to re0use this project, if you ever change cages, or wish to move it within the cage - if you do not have this, feel free to just tie to perch to the top of the cage
tie the 'tail' of the remaining string into a knot on the clasp --- PLEASE MAKE SURE this is secure,... for the sake of your feathered babies' safety. then cut any excess string off
hang your new swinging perch in your Cage, and enjoy :3
