Cut Out + Keep

Broken Heart

Something to lay your cheek to.

This was a super easy, and not so perfect pillow! I made it with two pieces of black felt and one piece of red felt. Just take the red piece and fold it in half and cut out a heart. After you have cut out the heart, cut the heart in half by using as many cracks to the break as you would like. Take one piece of black felt and start to stitch one heart towards the center of the piece (you want to leave space in between both pieces of heart to show that it is broken). After you have stuffed the heart and finished stitching it to the black felt, you can start stitching the two pieces of black felt together. At about 80% of having the pillow stitched together, stop and stuff the pillow. Then finish the remaining side or corner of the pillow! And now you have something for those singles to rest their heads on at night, who needs a shoulder!
