Made out of an old t-shirt that I didn't like to wear. I took the t-shirt and cut off the sleeves, collar, and bottom hem. Then I folded the fabric like an accordion, secured it with rubber bands, and poured some diluted bleach over the fabric to lighten it. Like tie-dying, but with bleach! After washing the fabric, I should have ironed (I did not = fail). Learned my lesson after sewing the body of the bag. I took the two squares of fabric, cut the bottom off both, then cut the bottom corners off at different angles (L=\, R=/). Flipped inside out and sewed around edges. No big deal! I took the bottom of one square, cut it in half and sewed it together long-ways to make the strap, then sewed it to the inside-out bag. Flip, bang! New bag. I also ended up sewing a little pocket on the inside. :) You can use it as a purse, a hiding place for foodies, or whatever you like! Personally, I'm going to use it to keep my dance shoes separate from my other dance clothes. :)
